Method 1: Updating BIOS from Inside Windows

1. Identify Your Motherboard: Begin by identifying your motherboard. Click on the start button and search for "system info." Open it and look for the baseboard manufacturer and product information.

2. Visit Gigabyte Website: Do a Google search for your exact motherboard model and visit the [Gigabyte website] to find the support page.

3. Check Revision: Ensure you select the correct revision of your motherboard from the support page.

4. Download BIOS Utility: Navigate to the utility tab on the support page and download the "@BIOS" utility. Also, download and install the App Center.

5. Install @BIOS: Extract the downloaded files, install the App Center first, restart your pc and then install @BIOS.

6. Update BIOS: Launch @BIOS, check current BIOS version, and compare with the latest version on the Gigabyte website. Click on "update from server" or update from file if needed.

7. Proceed with Caution: Follow the on-screen instructions carefully. Note the potential risks associated with BIOS updates and ensure uninterrupted power during the update process.

Your computer might restart two or three times, just leave it to do its thing until it boots back into Windows.

Method 2: Manual Update with QFlash

6. Update BIOS: Select "update BIOS from drive," choose the USB flash drive, select the BIOS file, and confirm the update.

Your computer might restart two or three times, just leave it to do its thing until it boots back into Windows.

Method 3: Flashing BIOS with a Bootable USB Flash Drive

1. Prepare USB Flash Drive: Download and use [Rufus] to create a bootable USB flash drive with the BIOS files.

2. Access BIOS Settings: Restart your computer, access BIOS settings, and enable Legacy Support or CSM Support as well as Legacy USB Support.

3. Boot from USB: Restart again, press F12 to access the boot menu, and boot from the USB flash drive (select the Legacy boot option).

4. Update BIOS: The system will automatically launch the BIOS flash update utility. Let the process complete, and your system will restart multiple times.

*Note, if it doesn't update automatically, just select the option to update the bios.
