How to Disable the Lock Screen on Windows 11 (Also Works on Windows 10)

In this quick guide I'll show you how to disable the lock screen on Windows 10 and Windows 11.
The lock screen is a screen that appears in Windows 10 and Windows 11 after a certain period of inactivity and can be a pain to get past sometimes.

I also have a video version if you'd prefer to watch it:

Start by opening up your browser of choice and then go to the WinAero Tweaker webpage.
Once you're on this page, just scroll down and click on download to download the WinAero Tweaker application.

Open the folder and then extract the downloaded files.
Once it's extracted, just click on the setup file. Click yes on any prompts and go through the normal installation process.

You can install WinAero Tweaker as a program on your computer, but I recommend you just install it as a portable application, so I'll select portable mode and then click on next. Accept the agreement and click on next.

Then where it says we can select a destination location; I'll just change this to the root of the C drive and then click on extract files.

And then once it's finished, I'll navigate to my C drive on my computer, go to the WinAero Tweaker folder and then click on the WinAero Tweaker application. Click yes on any prompts and then you'll see the WinAero Tweaker screen.

Now WinAero Tweaker has a lot of tweaks you can do in Windows, but we're going to search for a specific tweak, which is the lock screen.
Here we have this option that says to disable the lock screen, so I'll double click on that. Then all you need to do is just select the little check box and then the lock screen will be disabled.

Once that's done, just close all of the windows and restart your computer. And then once your computer has finished restarting, your lock screen should be disabled.
